It has been 7 years since we've uploaded the first Chaldea Gurus video. Back then, I wanted to have a goal of helping as many Masters as I could with this game and show them the vision that I had for the game and it's series. Today, the team has changed a lot but each member contributed to the success that we have. We may not be the biggest, but the community has made us feel like we're #1. This is a return to form. This is our come back. Videos will be coming out slowly over the weeks. But, if you happen to see the end of the month, stay tuned. You can expect to see a Guruverse Skit waiting for you~ Thank you to all the amazing people on this video! This was great. The set-up for a conflict while this is clearly about the relationship of these three to Musaki. Sparrow Phantasm makes for very good Musashi, driving home that sharp eye for peoples shortcomings through having faced them in battle but also how “relaxed”, without personal enmity she can tell people that she could and perhaps will kill them. For me, it was reveal that Musashi met Musaki back when he was a Master of Chaldea in his home timeline, before he was the pitching in to take the mantle of director in the Chaldea Gurus timeline. Hearing Okita change her whole demeanor as she is getting very emotional ans ascends was also great. Ivy really nails with her voice acting that this ascension is an Okita with a different version, more active and more sure of who she is. Nina's performance as Melt is top notch as always, but I think the improved editing of the facial expressions adds something to the whole performance. It fits the emotions Nina''s voive conveys here perfectly. Oh, and the nickname “Melty Blood” for Meltryllis from Musashi is a very nice touch. On the technical side the editing of the facial expressions in that quick succession really added some dynamic feeling to talk an nuance with feelings showing on the face for just a moment that most sprite works struggles to get across. The CGs were really good, I especially enjoyed the head butting of Musashi and Melt. And using one more that slightly more 'Eastern feeling" version of Kishi Ou no Hokori that we heard all way back in 2019 in “Sakura Memory” really makes me nostalgic. This theme is really the perfect fit when talking about the old Okita, as it transports this feeling of tragedy, beauty and longing, the bitter sweetness that is backed into some of Fate. Musaki being whisked away by “that little Oni”, I assume it is Beni Enma, giving Melt and Okita some room to sort things out (maybe even knowing that Musashi is there), since I think it is more unlikely Shuten or Ibaraki have some plans for Mu (and if things become this “random” I demand the great mothman 🦋 to make a personal apperance. Now that Musashi talked more about Musaki and with that challenge for in 7 months hanging in the air I wonder if this will be Guruverse original or if it hints at the Guruverse version of the Las Vegas Summer Event (I have to confess, since the Guruverse started to be synchronous with the NA schedule (something I understand was needed the sanity and time of everyone involved) I am starting to loose the overview of where exactly we are in the story (outside of the main story chapters of the Lostbelt arc). Whatever the event will be, it will make the Guruverse version of the events of LB 5 (nice allusion with the choice of god to depict that when Musashi talks about fighting gods by the way) have all the more impact. As always, I am looking forward to more Guruvese skits!

I'm so proud be a supporter of your Works Guru team. I may not have been here since the beginning but you know how passionate I am when it comes to this series especially the voice acting and storytelling. I still can't believe 7 years have passed but hey time flies, and with that time I see the passion still Burns bright for this series. I sincerely cannot wait to get started on some work what do you need me for a voice, script writing, video editing, even transcribing Im a message away. (And yes I WILL answer it Brawler and Chad!!) Ahem, regardless this is one exciting way to start the series again I can't imagine what's going to come within the 7 months till The Showdown. Hmm, I never can get over how it feels looking back on our journey so far. Even though it doesn't directly impact me anymore, time still acts in such mysterious ways. It heals old wounds, puts our troubles into perspective, yet also steals our joys away, and there never seems to be enough of it. Perhaps this is the same disassociation that Yu Mei Ren feels. Kiara: Does it scare you, feeling your old life slipping away from you? Do you remember the promise we made, in that other timeline? Of course I do. You were the reason I didn't succumb to despair, and helped me see there's still hope for humanity. As long as I have you, my anchor in this chaotic world, I will always embrace the present, and stride to the future with confidence. May our love endure forever more, and light the way for others to follow.
