Also the difference of the chaos levels in all of the boys streaming at the same time was hilarious, we had Joey having a nice calm time playing Pokémon, Garnt playing a fighting game and being competitive but everyone generally being fairly chill about the whole situation, (as someone who was there live) and what ever on earth was happening in Connor’s stream (as the video pointed out the replication situation).

As someone with ADHD I'm normally okay with super fast ADHD editing but damn you can barely see any actual gameplay in this video lmao. I assume that's intentional because Connor and Garnt's skill level is basically non-existant but it would've been nice to see things actually happening. agreed, this might be a result of rushed editing (maybe by mudan since he's so busy always) Because it seems like it's just jump cuts to one of them speaking or yelling, so instead of going through the whole vod to get the best moments they just skipped around the mic audio waveform

Tip for May, after totsugeki you can press kick, low slash, slash, or heavy slash while holding back depending on range and then totsugeki again. This forces them to guess which one your going to do. Can't wait to see the next ggs vid.

As a fighting game player it is a surreal experience watching you guys play. In the end when Garnt plays May against Connor's Potemkin is so fun to watch especially from Garnt's perspective. He develops game plan but he is set back by having poor execution. Nevertheless props to the bois and please play more fighting games, they are so hype to watch.

After watching the VOD I'd say Garnt had learnt more, and was the overall better player(man was using his dashes for spacing and baiting Connor to whiff his normals). But Potemkins gigantic buttons and health pool are pretty damn strong at beginner level. Can't wait to see if Garnt will play melty blood sometime, being a nasu fan and all

I would honestly love to see more of this. While it's easy to dismiss yourself as 'bad' when you're starting out, it's clear that you guys developed some solid fundamental strategies and skills even in this one play session. Just like learning any other pvp game, be it chess or LoL, improvement come naturally and faster than you'd expect when you're having fun, doubly so when you have a friend of similar skill level to be your rival. Seeing something like the chess tournament but with Guilty Gear would be super sick, as there's lots of good content out there for those who want to improve at fighting games (Sajam, Romolla, Lordknight, the wikis, etc) so I think the improvement we'd see from participants could be quite dramatic.

All the changes to each other's cameras made me nauseous, and it felt like I couldn't see any gameplay. Video was snappy zinger, camera change/focus on a single camera, but blown up to half the screen, and then repeat. I only got ~half way through the video because of this. All in all, it's kinda disappointing :/
