Greetings everyone, today we are here with our new series in Amman. It looks like I found the cheapest intercontinental airfare promotion: I was able to travel from Romania to the Arabian Peninsula for just 15 Euros. For a traveler, a promotional airfare can be a real incentive. If we look at it in terms of KM, I can save it as the cheapest flight ticket I have come across in my life.
After arriving in Amman, everything changed. Especially if I'm in a warmer climate than very cold weather. Of course, language, culture, religion and even smell have changed. I came to the Arabian Peninsula from the colorful mountains of Transylvania. This place is known as Amman, the capital of Jordan and is often confused with Oman. However, this is located in the northernmost part of the Arabian Peninsula, while Oman is located in the southernmost. Also, this place is quite different from other Arab countries because it is the only country in the Arabian Peninsula that does not have oil.
They don't need oil, but they don't have oil either. They get their energy needs from Iraq. Their wealth comes entirely from trade. The previous King of Jordan, Hussein, signed a trade agreement with Iraq's Saddam Hussein in 1978. It creates a good agricultural economy. It secures the oil.
The most appropriate definition for Jordan would be: "the country that lives in peace in the middle of hell". It is bordered by Israel and Palestine to the west, Iraq to the east, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to the south, and Syria and Lebanon to the north. Except for Lebanon, they all have borders. Despite the wars in the region, people still live in peace. More than half of the country is Palestinian and these lands are former Ottoman lands. In my travel travel video I will try to show you Jordan street food, history and many more.
If you ask how we buy plane tickets, there are very cheap airline companies in Europe. For example; Like Wizz Air, Ryanair. You can research more. Basically, here's the thing: All countries in Europe have "Low cost" airlines. You can find very cheap tickets from Budapest to Jordan. Tickets can be found even for 1 Euro + taxes. But an important detail, only small bags are allowed.
So what do I do for cheap travel?
1. I stay in cheap hostels. Sites I use: Agoda, Booking and HostelWorld. HostelWorld is my most used website. Some of the reasons I prefer hostels are that I meet a lot of people and they are close to the city center.
2. I use SkyScanner for cheap flight tickets. It has an application about where you can fly the cheapest. Thanks to that application, I can find cheap tickets.
That is all. Let's explore Jordan together now.
