Just got one of these, it’s unbelievable the sound quality and tones. Pairing it up with a Tylor GS mini sounds like a dream. It’s perfect for what I need. Great review! 🤘

Nice review, the vocal segment at the end was a nice bonus. Too many acoustic amp reviewers neglect this part!

I’ve got the loudbox mini which is also a great little amp. I haven’t really had a chance to use it just yet. But I have heard guitars through it at my local music store and they sound great. This micro owds like the perfect amp to take with you on a family picnic as long as you can find a park with electric. Again the micro really does have a real good sound to it.

The problem for me is that I cannot stand the sound of piezo (undersaddle) guitar pickups. Therefore for every electro-acoustic guitar I've ever owned, I've used either a magnetic soundhole pickup (such as the LR Baggs M1) - OR - the K & K contact pickups. Only THEN would I ever be able to know which acoustic guitar amps sound good.
@SeanPierceJohnson10 ай бұрын
Makes sense. I’m not crazy about under-saddle pickups either. I really enjoy the sound hole pickup & mic combinations.

You said the Trio Plus was "back there..." Did you mean that you were running it though a different setup, or was the Trio running through the Loudbox?
@SeanPierceJohnson8 ай бұрын
it was literally behind me, so it was "back there". it was plugged into the amp just like any pedal. i split the signal: guitar channel has the guitar output of the Trio+ and the loop/backing track from the Trio+ went into the Mic channel of the amp.
@arc20298 ай бұрын
@@SeanPierceJohnson Thank you for clarifying! The only thing stopping me from getting the amp was the question of how my trio will sound, and it sounds great on your demo. Thanks for the great review!

Yes, it's lightweight but you failed to mention that it does not have a battery so I wonder what the point of this model is when fisherman also has the Fishman charge.

And here I go with a dumb question, does it work with electric guitar and distortion?
@SeanPierceJohnson8 ай бұрын
I don’t recommend it. There’s a section in the video that compares the Fishman to a tube amp. The tube amp is colored and has a vibe. The Fishman is loud and clean. The speaker is much more like a PA than a guitar cab
@iyona14granturismogt6gtspo78 ай бұрын
@@SeanPierceJohnson my use case is Tonex on an IPad which has every Amp and Pedal I could ever want,so I don't need an Amp with effects just a loud clean Amp that can play my beautiful Amp Sims and V.I.R.
@loganknapp89054 ай бұрын
@@SeanPierceJohnson I use my telecaster and run it thru a plug in. Via an irig HD. Then into the fishman. It works. But just don’t push the speaker. The speaker can play any aux signal you give it. So I’d say the speaker can handle electric guitar.

@@vicferrari89 Hiya my friend, Hope your well 😊 Is that a subjective opinion, or evidence based. It’s amazing how much science actually point’s to a Creator. It’s Likely you don’t care, no matter how much evidence there is, but if your interested…Life can’t come from non-Life, a scientific impossibility. And EVERYTHING has to have an origin point, and cause, and the very first of it’s kind. Where does it come from? Evolution requires WAY too much time, it would have died out. And the first species to swim to Land, did it have gill’s, or Lung’s? Biologically speaking, it wouldn’t survive, over the claim of thousand’s of year’s And even Charles Darwin himself said, in origin of species, if his theory is correct, we should expect to find thousand’s upon thousand’s of Transitional fossil form’s, showing a change from 1 species, to another If evolution happened, where are the fossil’s? Even over time, they should still be around somewhere. You got like 15 minutes dedicated to the amp w/ guitar and then some vocals for like 3…ratio seems pretty good. And by the way, you should know better than to insult a man’s wife directly to him…

@@SeanPierceJohnson That guy is an idiot. The amp specifically has a microphone channel so not only was he rude he was completely incorrect to act like vocals wasn't relevant to this review. Already purchased the "artist" version of this amp and I can't wait to try it out once it's here.
