I love your positive attitude! It’s infectious. I also changed up my strategy for 2024. Consistency, schedule…I want to try and get 30 hours a week and keep to specific times and days. My mental health needs some routine.

Don't know how it works @ your walmart, but the offers start around 7:25 am @ mine and I've noticed that if you accept one of the first drops for the 7:45 pickup you can pretty much get consistent orders. Hope that helps 😊

Had maps showing a house inside trees and seen the mail boxes and i always try to look for the house address but this one was really confusing and how maps were like i assumed the house is somewhere on the side and drove back and found the house mail box and long driveway into trees jeez lol

Hey now ,I drive a 08 F150 v6 with a topper... I've done like 12k from the middle of August. Yes,I'm very aware of my mileage, soooo,if it's not at least $1.50 per mile, I don't take it.. I'm spending about $100 a week in gas.. I get the larger orders offered to me using the larger vehicle with my wheeled totes

You may be the one who is right. But I heard you can’t start your like counting until you are at your Walmart then it counts from Walmart to drop off points and back to Walmart. But not to and from home?? I seen this in one of the apps that said it was the irs who deemed it. Anyone know anything about this??

What offers I accept depends on the vehicle I'm driving, time of day and weather We have a lot of winter related accidents, deer/vehicle accidents at night, and a lot of steep roads, streets, and mountainous regions Last night while delivering in a snowstorm I used my 2016 Honda Odyssey as it's my least valuable vehicle, good in snow with studded Nokian tires, and it's not too bad on gas at $3.19 per gallon I was behind someone that couldn't make it up a steep city street, so I had to pass them to avoid them hitting me

Great perseverance Nason! It's always slow this time a year. Also if you haven't worked a particular store in a while, the algorithm seems to punish you. For a day or so, IME. You should get yourself some of the blue IKEA tarp totes. I leave them open for curbside and they place stickers on them by order. Cuts down on trips to porch and saves your back on 40pk of water.

I found curbside pickups basically impossible to do during peak busy times. The loaders and order pickers couldn't keep up with demand in my area. This caused long wait times. I would cancel an order after 30 minutes, be paid $8 dollars and some change in the order would pop back up in the system. Steady and busy are good. Swamped and crazy busy not so!

Keep your acceptance rate up. The higher the acceptance rate, the higher paying orders will come to you.

Google is really bad about finding addresses and locations especially in rural areas....and to make matters worse the customer's address is NOT always visible......AND sometimes the customers will not answer their phone in order to give you the right direction. This puts you behind in time, especially if you have perishables. The app will automatically cancel the trip and tell you to return the item back to Wal-Mart. Has that happened to you or anyone else? It's very frustrating.🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I've never had an issue with time delivering perishables... I do rurals all the time and I always find the houses but it's tough. I use street view and even Zillow if needed

After speaking with Spark customer service, they even admitted it is a problem and that the technicians are making this a priority for 2024 to reduce this glitch. You'd be surprised how many times there is more than one address for the customer and you will never know which one is which until you end up at the first location and they say that this is not that address and that "this always happens"....smh.🤦‍♀🤷‍♀...now I've lost time trying to make it to the next delivery location.☹

Also keep track of your miles on paper. Gigwise is usually off saying you drove less then what you did. Just a heads up.

Mileage only counts when you’re activity on a order not driving toward a store

Miles do count when you drive it toward the store because you’re driving to your job as long as you are driving for that job those miles count

Think what you want , the irs rules specifically state as an IC unless you are assigned an order actually working the miles are considered dead miles and are not eligible

Yes. I was worried for him when he said that. Commuting miles cannot be taken off of taxes. I drive 25 miles each way to and from Walmart to do spark. It’s worth it for me even though I can’t deduct the miles.
