I CHEATED the Timing System and Then BROKE A Kart! 50 Lap Race at TeamSport Sheffield Go Karting

This has happen to us too (the timing system), only notice during editing, everything was a lap out, times & positions did not match the app and was a lap down in the end, your theory is a good one. I came 2nd in the end with no drivers in front for a long time, thought it was a Ghost driver 😂👻

I used to work at a Teamsport. Sometimes what happens is, during a red light you might stopped on the timing loop, if you roll back and cross it again backwards the system cant tell the difference and it thinks youve done an extra lap.

The other one is, they forgot to start the race and when they did.. you happened to have crossed the line first so technically the race started with you in front.

Lap record at Liverpool is around 37.3.. I was waiting for my session last week when a public group came off and everyone was amazed at how quick the guy who won was and even congratulating him.. he did a 24 second lap.. I didn't have the heart to say anything

Happened at Cardiff lap record is a 31.9 and this guy set a 21 second lap😂

I caused it at Stoke in July - I span someone over the line, they set a 24 second lap. I did burst their bubble though! 😂

The timing situation is weird, maybe there is a line of bad code under red flags. At our centre, we use Clubspeed. In the actual races when first place crosses the line, everyone goes a lap down. You could finish a tenth behind first place, on the lead lap, and it will say you've been lapped. What type of Karts are you racing?

That's an interesting thing to read! We're in Biz Karts, using the BMI Leisure timing system (formerly SMS Timing)

@@RobGoesRacing Nice, I've never hear of Biz Karts. There's a lot of Sodi and Rimo Karts over here in Victoria, Australia. We have to have a roll bar and seat belts on ours though.
