Aw man as a Christian I’m eager to watch this. The frenzied flame may be my favorite ending just because of how philosophically rich it is and the awesome questline, but I would think the Christian view would lead us to affirm life. I actually though about The Age of Stars through a Christian lense and that resonated with me because it seems what Ranni wants is to remove all influence of Gods and the Outer Gods from the Lands Between, and in doing so leave all of its inhabitants with free will to believe and obey, or to not. Yet her hold on reality will insure its continued existence and persistence of a set of laws that govern reality, without stripping the inhabitants of their free will. It’s hard to not believe in and obey a God when it walks the land with you. No one could truly choose to love and believe in a God that is physically present and irrefutable.

@@CHRISTIAN_GAMER My first playthrough I used katanas - meteoric ore, Moonveil, and the Uchi with the unsheath Ash of War. Second time was a Witcher cosplay, with spells approximating Signs and 4 longswords, each with a different Ash of War to replicate Geralt's moves. I switched between them in a fight to replicate his style and to confuse invaders.

oooo. both of those builds sound very fun! Yeah I started with using the katanas, until I was able to hunt down my whips@@thekatarnalchemist

@@CHRISTIAN_GAMER Meteoric Ore Blade was so very helpful when fighting flying enemies and for clearing out the Shunning Grounds.

that makes sense. Luckily the whips had a pretty solid reach, especially with the jump attack. I definitely need to check out the Meteoric Ore Blade though!@@thekatarnalchemist

I don't know if will help in your Journey but Demon Souls, DS 1to3 and Elder Ring I use one build in my playtrough with is to take a class that has Biggest defensive stat, enough Dex and Str to wild the Morning star (and varients if exist in the edition) and a little of faith, call it Bucket Head like I said just focus on defense take the equivalent to havel ring if necessary every defensive phys and mgc to make them very equal or focus more in one or 2 stats if I know the meta of PvP and if I go for Jolly co-operation and on those I use some miracles or pyromances to buff and taunt enemies Was a way I found to be punished but kinda not be totally useless since morning star kinda covers, all, Blungeoning is a normal damage for most creature but effective for undead and contructed creatures and Bleeding is useless to those but VERY effective agaisnt living creature (that bleed) souls game slowly they made less viable these build by making boss immune or very strong for both, but for that I have my Sunbro tab open and call cooperation, also a lot of enemies has specific weekness that consumables can help and you can do that a lot in Sekiro and ER, type of echantment change game to game but do love my Divine in armor but more in DS3 where you regen life, that also something I did if there rings and equipament that does that I seek them Talking bout Sekiro and BB they ware a different beast, Sekiro obviously you kinda stuck with what you have but I made my best to understand the text and being literal, if it say the only thing you can't parry is the warning you should take that literally, there are attack that seen unparriable that you can parry, enemies have gimmicks and you have gadgets use them, a lot of that will make trivial and less of a headache, funny enough it rewards pressure, the Butterfly for example I made it easy by just rushing her, throwing star when she jumps, you can basically stagger her to death BB what I did is opposite of DS games it seem Miyazaki whanted that and that what I did, I stayed with the Cane and made my attacks Arcana with consumables on reach and stoked, my parry was the pistol but true secundary is the "flamethrower", Cane was the Morning star of the realease game first form for human and fast targets and whip for beasts and crowd Arcana just a general weakness, I did upgrade my defensive skill in BB priority was Arcana, Life&Endurance and last Skill

About the Roundtable Hold: you can actually run into it in the game! It is in the castle behind the gates of Leyndell where the quest for the Mount Gelmir with Bernahl is. The Roundtable Hold is so safe because it exists on another timeline. Classic soulsgames stuff. P.S. Also, i agree with @bennytopollillo4120 guy. Blasphemous is a beautiful game, you should definitely play it, brother!

I see the frenzied flame as the story of Noah, and Gold mask as Revelation

I can’t really say that I agree. What are the parallels between the frenzied flames and Noah? I haven’t seen the gold mask questline yet so I can’t say if that’s similar either. If it is, that’d be pretty cool!

@@CHRISTIAN_GAMER i saw frenzied flame as completely wipe out and start anew (I guess I should’ve said the flood specifically) and gold mask ending seems like rebirth (it’s called the age of order)
