I Climbed SEOUL's Tallest Mountain (IT WAS TERRIFYING) | Bukhansan National Park

In this video, I hike the tallest mountain at Bukhansan National Park. This mountain is Baegundae, which is 836m (2,744ft) tall, making it taller than even the Lotte World Tower. The hike itself is pretty crazy, consisting of some exposed cliffs and cables to pull your body up with. This South Korea vlog also serves as a guide to Bukhansan, in which I go over how to get here from Seoul, which hike I chose, and how long/difficult it was. Visiting Bukhansan National Park is certainly one of the top things to do in Seoul, South Korea, as the hikes and views here are breathtaking.

Awesome hike! I would highly recommend it! I just did this hike last Sunday. Now I'm back home in Okinawa where sadly the mountains are a bit smaller.

I assume this was last year? I climbed 3 weeks ago and the Fall colors were just starting. I have also climbed in 1991 and 1998. Critical to visit Baekundae on a weekday morning. One my first climb we had to wait in line for an hour to stand on the summit. Very crowded!

Yes, this wasn't from this year unfortunately. And that's too bad you had to wait so long, weekday mornings are certainly the best times to visit any popular place - good tips!

Love the autumn colours! What month did you do this climb? I’m planning a Seoul/Osaka trip for autumn next year but unsure whether to go mid October or early November

seoul hiking tourism center 등산관광센터에서 저렴하게 가방+등산화+스틱+등산복 모자등을 빌릴수 있는 장소 있음 옷보관+샤워까지 할수있음 다음엔 안전하게 빌려서 등산하세요! 낮은 산이라도 조심해서 등산해야 합니다 뱀같은것도 있고 다리가 삘수도 있음 센터가 몇곳이 있는진 몰라도 북한산 북악산엔 있어용!
