I do kind of wonder, with all due respect, what goes on in someone's mind who has 11 children but feels the urge to get 6 more. Does she feel like she is missing out on something? Does she enjoy being pregnant and caring for very small kids and babies (as some people genuinely do) so she'd like to go on? How does she think 6 or even just 3 more children would enrich her life? Some people want a big family, alright. But she already has that? No negative judgement here, really. Still, on a psychological level, this seems fascinating to me.

I have three children, all adults now, but when they were small, I color-coded them without intentionally doing it. And it was based on their preferred or favorite colors. The eldest loved the hot and warm colors and usually had clothes and other stuff in red, orange, or yellow. The middle one loved plants, so usually had green things. The youngest has been obsessed with the sky, astronomy, the stars, since age two, so usually had blue. I had all three in three years and five months. It got hectic! When I would take them to a crowded playground, I would dress them all in the same bright color, like yellow, so I could quickly locate them. Even as adults, they still have similar color preferences.

@@er6730 whats wrong with buying new clothes for each child? Not every child will like what their older siblings liked, they have different styles and preferences for their own individuality. Even though I don’t want that many kids of my own it’s awesome to see all your siblings grow up and get married and become someone in this world. We are all friends and people always tell me, my mom is the happiest person they know. Every time I see large families like this I wonder what is going on inside of the home. I knew a boy who had 13 other siblings and while the family were kind people, their relationships with each other were far from perfect or even ideal. The larger the family the more likely a child’s personal needs will slip through the cracks and the parent can’t be there for every child’s wants, leaving those children to deal with them alone. I wouldn’t be surprised if those kids will feel a lack of support when they grow older, especially the oldest children.

I have 12 siblings and life is just normal to be honest, I don't think you notice the difference when it's just life. Both my parents come from families with 6 and 8 siblings and wanted a big family. I just think how are you to know if you had less siblings your parents would any different? If your parents aren't giving you support, love or attention it's because they're not good parents so I can't see how it would be different in a smaller family. My family are all quite close but I'm closer to the siblings and cousins I grew up closer in age. My youngest sibling is 10 and my oldest sibling is 36 so we have a massive age gap which might helped things as some of the older lot had already left home when some of the younger children were born. My 10 year old brother is actually younger than his 14 year old niece. But to be honest I always was put in sports, read to at night, got to go on trips etc so don't think I would change a thing. Family parties are also always good when you have a massive family with lots of cousins. However I'm going to keep my future family small cause no way am I going through the pain of labour multiple times.

If it makes you feel better, realize that more siblings = a higher chance of dealing with more arguments; a higher chance of one of them (or more) to steal your food, your toy, etc (sure, good parents would teach their children to treat others with respect but some children still try to sneakily still do this to their sibling); a lot of noise, so if you want to take a nap? Forget about it; a higher chance of having less fun snacks since more children = more expenses for actual groceries. Also, if some of the siblings or one of them had particularly good grades compared to the rest, there could be jealousy and resentment from the ones that aren't doing as good. I might sound superficial with some of these details, but really, just trying to let you know that you shouldn't be jealous.

If 70% of the population does not want to have children in the future, it is fine, that 30% have all the children they want, in the end what happens in Europe and Japan will happen. The only problem is that the children have their needs covered such as food, education, a good place to live, the love that each one needs, to hell with the number of children in the family if they are well. The problem is not the number in the world, it is the condition of life, the way we take care of the planet and ourselves, the rotten society. There is a huge reality regarding abandoned children, since most of them come from dysfunctional families and parents who do not take care of themselves, a good minority of deceased parents, and this is a problem of personal education, emotional maturity, parents that they were not educated by their family and society to face their responsibilities, it is not a problem of numbers, it is of personal conscience and neglect for the most part.

I think it’s a beautiful thing to have a large family providing you can take care of them. I do feel that you should consider not having more if you have major health issues because your children are depending on you. Quite while you’re ahead cause if something were to happen to you, they will be separated and put in the system. You wouldn’t want that. At least, now you’re healthy enough to maintain your family as is. I don’t see or hear mention of the father. That’s all the more why you shouldn’t. Raising children with two parents can be difficult enough. Although, surprisingly enough you have a nice home and they’re happy and you appear to love them so much. Take care of yourself, you have a beautiful family and they need you. You want to be healthy enough to see them grow up. Nobody else is going to be as good of mom as you. They love you and you are all they have and you want to be here as long as you can. With that being said, and taking in consideration of your health, think whether or not it’d be a wise decision to have more. #I’mjustsaying

I know people who have more than 11 kids but they have a responsible partner with good finances. Now if she is a struggling, single mother please get on birth control. Because you will eventually neglect these kids and they will resent you in the end for not being responsible. However, if you can meet the financial obligations and you have support I'd say fine, its okay. I'm 34 and I could never in my dreams think about having this amount of kids. Also I'm from a very big family. My grandfather had more than 18 kids on my moms side and my grand mother had 14 kids on my dads side so I know about a big family. Can you imagine how my family reunions look. Lol! My mom and dad are the babies in each family . So they both have nieces and nephews older than them. I just think if you want to mature about this topic, I would hold off on having more kids and manage the 11 there. Believe me you knows it's not easy meeting the needs of kids emotionally and financially sometimes. People struggle to support 1 child these days. I hope that you have all of your government benefits for your kids and thank God your sister loves you. Sometimes its only your kids that love you in this world. Also I see you have teenage daughters. Now I'm a straight shooter. If any of them are sexually active please put them on birth control. You were a teen mom and I'm sure you don't want that for your daughters or sons. Also I want to encourage you to strongly push your children education and make sure they pursue their careers. God will allow them to help you one day. So just take care your kids and stay positive. Best of luck!🥰🥰🥰🥰

Even though I only have 2 kids I color coded my kids stuff when they were little. It made things so much easier!!

Ok but this is awesome. If my family wasn't my family, I'd want to be in her family. And Mara's style is amazing.
