I Combined Two Of The Worst Randomizer Settings

I wanted to try out a new setting of the Hollow Knight Randomizer, randomized benches. This of course didn't sound like enough on its own, so I also turned on enemy randomizer for the first time in a good while. Enjoy the resulting chaos!

I love how Grimm even bowed its like Tiso getting crushed by the brooding mawlek. Like hes only here to introduce the real ultra nightmare king. The Collector. Skurry may think they won but it was yet another win in The Collector’s grand plan to overthrow the Pale King, The Radiance, AND the Shade Lord. Truly the final boss of the game.

It’s funny but it is somewhat problematic in enemy wave rooms. Collos are awful as if the collector spawns you just have to restart as he’ll never come back. It still is funny though at least.

For having done a couple of bench + room randos myself, it honestly doesn’t change up the gameplay that much. Room rando is already nearly impossible to navigate using the map mod, so changing up bench placements doesn’t make it crazier. It just makes it annoying when you don’t have a good bench that’s close to dirtmouth, lol

I an item sync room rando with a group with this bench mod on plus full journal entries and a few other things and it was CHAOTIC. We ended up getting all going for all checks and due to having everything but weathered mask turned on in the true journal rando we had to do asc hog in order to complete the hunters journal in order to get left claw so we could get the like last 10 checks.

The lore and luck is on point this video. Like, all the scripted bee fights, the tale of vengeance of a big brother against a little brother. There's all the hot deals with Cornifer and the other vendors. And that moment when Grim turns into NKG for a fight and then turns back once the dance is over. Seamless. The only thing that could've made this run more perfect is if Sheo dropped Lurien instead of Mato, because they're both painters.
