We sing this song at my WELS Church.. I come oh Saviour to thy table. For weak and weary is my soul. Thou bread of life alone art able to satisfy and make me whole..... Lord may your body and your blood... Be for my soul the highest good.. 🍞 🍷

My childhood days when all LCMS churches were United and you knew what you received each Sunday and full every Week. Packed full on Christmas and Easter Ressurrection Sunday! Even Candlelight service brought out 150 people in ours that held 350 Capacity.

I am LCMS and truly miss the 1941 hymnal. The one after that is ok, LSB only setting three (communion service from 1931).

Setting 3 is, in my opinion, the only acceptable service. Call me old school but I loathe all others.
