Walls die first. Towers behind walls tended to take longer to fall but still had to be abandoned an awful lot.

I'll say this, if the peasants really did just want to stop being repressed then they could very easily just leave the fortress alone. The fact is that they are attacking a heavily fortified fortress that would be very easy to simply bypass entirely. If the peasants didn't have such an utter craving for blood then they would certainly be better off living for themselves while organizing a defense on their terms.

@@cursedhfy3558 what defenses? We have seen the camps they have set up in the region be destroyed, and no sustained construction can continue with the fortress dominating the region. Your suggestion only works in a defensive campaign when this entire region is being attacked by the peasants!
