glad youre alive, my buddy also wrecked his civic back in the day, him and passenger were ejected and his body went through a 6ft cedar fence. both survived, passenger had road rash, he broke his neck, leg, arm, and had a stoke. it was late at night and foggy, corner came up too fast, we estimate he was doing 110 or so. seriously I've slowed down and changed my life a bit over it.

Obviously you don’t realize that Hondas are tin cans🤦🏼‍♂️ every Honda guy knows that… Why do you think most people put cages in these cars even when they make under 500hp? Also what the hell would you expect from a car that slides into a telephone pole at say 60-65 mph? At that point, that telephone pole becomes a knife and the car becomes butter. This is pretty normal for that rate of speed. Just like 100mph will literally cause a car to look like it was ran through a cheese grater..

From the looks of the damage done to the "car", you were most definitely driving at least 100mph -120mph if not faster bro. I mean, you're lucky to be alive bro. I'm glad you to see that you made it out ok. But that first bad crash will stay with you forever. Mine did, that's for sure. It took me a few years to stop driving like a grandma. But eventually, you realize that you are a good driver and every driver had a bad one. But I can honestly say that the fear of crashing again is still there. So, don't think that you're alone. Hesitation will also get you killed as well as over reacting. So it's always going to be a literal razor's edge.

Broke 4 ribs and still have one that pops out of place if i move the wrong way.. never cut a car in half but i have ran one through a stand of birch trees at 60 that ripped the whole passenger side of the car off and i walked away with a dislocated rib and bruises everywhere. Ive also hit a rock in the road that sent me into the woods at 110 and it didnt wreck the car and was rebuildable.
