That kinda also looks like a BMW theme. It looks good, but I would probably go with a base color of yellow, the hood, roof, and wing would be natural carbon, and above the rear wheels would be the Dahm logo from the OG shirts but in red letters. I think that would be pretty iconic considering the history of the Rx7 and the fact that it'll be doing a hill climb. It's so iconic that I'm willing to bet people will know where this idea came from without me having mentioned it. Oh, and if I had to pick which yellow, I'd say the Diablo yellow. If I didn't do anything with either of those ideas, I would cover the car in that test car camouflage lol.

Rob, moving the 20b back is exactly how this swap should be if you wanna maintain factory balance and polar moment. I simply left the stock subframe bolted on to keep alignment and cut up and removed the back half to drop in the engine. Then I beat the hell out of the firewall to round it out to make room for the bell housing to slide back. Pounding the firewall was how Autotech did it years ago so I just copied them. I finally just built the rear half of the subframe to fit it. Was super easy without building a whole new subframe however, I wish I had enough room to fit the Mazda racing dry sump front cover. My engine sits behind the stock rack with 1/4" clearance. That's how I did mine. I was also able to relocate the shifter into the front compartment on the stock fd tranny. Year later, I bought a T-56 out of a 2005 CST-V with the tripple cone syncros. This transmission has a pedestal type shifter housing that I was able to move forward to stock interior position. I've done the mockup for fitment but haven't fully installed that tranny yet. You're gonna love how much better the FD handles after moving that engine down and back.

Move the work piece to the far end that's the least sloppy on that table. That said, you could bring the slop to manageable levels depending on how worn (saddle style) the mill table ways are. IMO, worth taking that table apart just so you can clean decades of grime and schmutz out. While you're at it, you can figure out where the slop is. On that kind of a mill, you don't need to be hyper precise about it.
