I had two playthroughs of this mod recently. One as France where the front just froze into infinite entrenchment after 1917 and one as England which is able to churn out heavy tanks and CAS early. It has a few rough edges but the mods really fun

France is very easy, you need to pump out howitzers and attack.

Yeah, i had a game as german where ww1 kicked off in july of 1912, i used lots of cav so once broke through belgium i was in paris by august. Ww1 lasted 3 weeks with less than 100k casaulties on both sides

@@amckittrick7951 didn't know there was a trigger for the war to start in 1912 lol. I'm guessing you were able to snake around? Because I can't get breakthrough with the default 20 entrenchment given by the 3rd land doctrine bonus.

@@geldarus it was the agadir crisis. Neither side backed down. As for the strategy, i had enough infantry with artillery to break through belgium which is pretty easy and the cavalry outran them easily so i flanked them easily in the race to the sea and made it to paris before they could react. Their lines disintegrated after that

Germany collapsing is part of the mod, it is what happens if you end up defeating the Central Powers before Russia has its revolution.

and probably what will have happens IRL if France did manage to break the German line and occupy a big part of West Germany this was there demands during peace talk and historically the only one approving of it was also Russia so making it happens if Russia dont peace out is a nice touch

they nerfed howitzers sadly, so it's way more worth it to just use line arty.

That's a load of lies. Howitzers are absolutely worth it until 1918 or when you get ALL the artillery upgrades. Just gotta treat it like a Tank: have around ~40 organization in the division and you'll be fine.

@@survivalist2607 Starting towed artillery has 4 production cost for 6 defense, 10 soft attack and 3 breakthrough. Starting howitzers have 10 production cost for 15 soft attack, 3 defense and 2 breakthrough. I feel like paying 2.5x the production cost for 5 more soft attack and lower breakthrough, while 1914 artillery is objectively better than howitzers, isn't exactly worth it. It was nerfed a few weeks ago I believe.
