I looked into it and yep it’ll form some amount of formaldehyde at high temperatures but number one your body processes it into formaldehyde anyways. But number two you’ll find higher concentrations of formaldehyde in all sorts of natural foods. Apparently your body needs formaldehyde to function and produces it on its own if it doesn’t get it naturally, I did not know that always just thought it was some scary embalming chemical. Tyler would still be safe if he boiled the diet soda, we’re fortunate aspartame is that incredibly potent so there’s not enough of it to form a dangerous amount of formaldehyde

@MrTastelessVideos3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, depending what exactly the pickles are soaking in, you can cook some pretty slick things with it. I always choose from the same manufacturer and I pedantically look at the ingredient list - with that I have already cooked nice noodles, potatoes (whole, mashed, dumplings), sauces especially - however that works best with Bio (organic) dill pickles, at best with just water (or Light vinegar), Salt and spices, nothing else. For sauces I also used to use the water from corn kernels and champignon in jars (again, same ingredient list, however vinegar should NOT be in there) etc! Works like a charm - maybe add some cream (I tend to use coconut milk, if needed thickened with any flour of choice) and BAM nice sauce, saved ressources and a delightful meal (hopefully).

So the reason it boils more intensively with a lid on than off is because your holding the heat in allowing it to “boil” at a higher temp… Personally I think you should redo all the ramen testing with same liquids, but half the volume you used and add the seasoning during the while you let the liquid get to boiling temp so it infuses the flavor more…
@monhi64 Жыл бұрын
Yep, it helps contain the heat energy to the pot allowing it to boil slightly quicker and boil more vigorously. Actually because it’s mostly the steam /vapor coming off that releases heat, it doesn’t increase the speed a pot comes to a boil as much as you might expect

When i make ramen, I like adding leftover chicken or pork chops, some soy sauce, sesame oil, cayenne, crushed red pepper flakes, rotisserie chicken seasoning, vegetable seasoning, and some parmesan. Also spinach is a yummy addition. Oh, and some chicken bouillon sometimes. I don't use the original spice packet

Maple syrup! Try to go for an almost chicken and waffles type deal! You might have to water down the syrup so it gets absorbed but it should still work

Tyler...you should ad chapters in some of your videos! I was really looking for the ramen and monster but had to search for it forever🤣🤣 chapters would make it easier to locate certain segments of your videos

We all know what the REAL abomination is in this video...southern style sweet "tea". Big ol' jug of sugar with the faintest hint of tea flavor. I'm surprised those noodles didn't come out carmalized. If you *really* want to give the "tea noodle" thing a try, cook them in water that has one or two tea bags in it. Then, if you must because you southern DNA forces you to, sprinkle some sugar over them with the chicken seasoning.

Just eat the tea leaves straight while you're at it. Might as well

This is only a TV show, this guy is really a watercolour painter who loves pickles, as a matter of fact, his favorite medium uses Pickles and Pikle juices.
