Great reaction and understanding. When Nova's parents split up she went off the rails and her dad couldn't cope so she ended up in group homes which she ran away from and she ended up sleeping in mall stairwells avoiding security 15-18, her music talent got her out of that, years later she knows some are still living the life in their 30s. I am really glad you decided to do this one I saw a post from her and she lived most of this and it is for her friends from back then. This is her first fully independent release she was under the labels for more than 10 years and she wouldnt release anything for fear of them claiming it for themselves. So now she is like Tom totally independent and everything she puts out is hers. The problems stem from when she was living in Jamaica for 4 years she was s e xually targeted. She was being bullied by racist girls, and as such she would dodge through empty school rooms as a means by not to get beat up. That was until she was cornered by a boy. When she went to the principal, he didn't believe her. Her father was also trying to run an aquatic business focused on tourism. He was also faced with the challenges of machete fights in the streets of Jamaica. Afterwards they packed up, and returned to Canada. As things progressed after time he didn't understand her pain, and sought the state to put her in a girl's home because of her behavior.
