Mariusz Pudzianowski was a monster in his prime. Strongest man is not just about raw strength, but about endurance, speed, cardio and determination. Pudzianowski had speed, cardio, endurance, raw strength and had iron will where he competed and won with an injured knee. I remember looking at a double bicep pose of his in just trunks and even at 320 lbs, he was shredded to the bones with tissue paper thin skin around his waist. People don't realize how difficult it is to be so lean and compete in strength competitions. There is a reason why strongmen like Brian Shaw, Eddie Hall, Zydrunas and Hafthor carry so much fat around their waist as it helps with counterweights and supporting the weight using soft surfaces while Pudz used to be dry and shredded to the bones competing with the Hercules look no one else could match

Ronnie was repping insane amount of weights while shredded to the bone days before show. From my experience even a 1 kilo fat loss for me loses some level of strength. So at peak show week and as lean as he was, he was probably getting progressively weaker when closer to the show which means when Ronnie was in of season he was probably stronger. He was also mainly aiming towards bodybuilding routine. He was also insanely strong in core powerlifting exercises like dead, bench, overhead, squat. I have no doubt in my mind that if Ronnie did gain a bit of fat and focused primarly for strength, he would be able to compete for world strongest man. He was just genetic freak.
