No matter how many times I watch this movie, I always end up crying. The realism in the evils and goodness of Humanity, just hits me every time. As for those who didn't like the film missed the point of the story. This wasn't an action movie bad guys verses good guys. This movie was about Humans, how humans are to each other....both the good and even the evil.

This is a perfect example of why you should always decide for yourself if you like a movie or not, never let those movie rating systems decide for you

Such a great film with some amazing visuals. Scary to think about going thru, specially when we know the elite would do the same in real life. Just open the dang gate, let the people in. Does take u thru the emotions, happy, mad, sad, excited, anxious, etc. Love Woody. Thanx so much, have great wkend, Peace

Los Angelino here. We have had bad earthquakes, but not like portrayed here. The worst that I have experienced was the Northridge quake.

The Mayans predicted the apocalypse in 2012 - that doesnt mean "the end of the world". That word literally means "Lifting of the veil", so its the end of the world as we know it, but not the physical end.

They didn't predict anything. They just weren't able to continue expanding on their calendar on account of... y'know... being dead.

That's it, you have seen the peak disaster movie. The Hollywood blockbuster genius at his peak, with top notch CGI from when they still gave a fudge. I think one big reason for the lower ratings is because by the time this came out, certain Roland Emmerich 'tropes' had become widely known and this is packed with them. If you watch another great movie, Independence Day, you will see a lot of similarities and similar obvious attempts to pull at the heartstrings, but in that case it was new and novel and VERY well received. Personally, I just switch off and have lots of fun. Where the formula fails is when the actors don't have the chops to pull it off.. with Moonfall being a great example and the reviews reflect just how worn out those tropes are, especially with such an... extreme plot.

The Mayans were technically correct. Look into the Mandela Effect and Project CERN. it's all connected.
