Here in the PNW I hiked out a couple miles in the snow to get to this gorgeous peak runoff pond and caught some nice brookies. Started snowing midway upon my arrival and I stayed until sundown, camped out and made a fire (was well put out when I left so don’t come after me Smokey) It’s all about the mindset

You are quite the man for fishing in the rain. But snow? Wow you really are a macho die hard. Very admirable. Just a thought, but if you park you raft upside down while onshore, the snow will accumulate on the bottom and you won’t have to deal with snow inside your raft when you are ready to launch.
