He should buy a sn95 mod it slightly, drift it and then import it back to NZ and build it into a comp car. I bet not many people in NZ have a sn95 comp car. Granted sn95 aren't the easiest to set up for drifting but I'm sure it's doable

The ecu has a temp safety in that when it hits 100 degrees it starts lowering the rpm to warn me it’s getting hot but I definitely need to get an oil pressure gauge asap

Everyone learns somehow. Even the best D1 driver make judgement calls that are wrong in the heat of the moment and crash, it's part of drifting. The main this is nobody was hurt and there's no bad blood with either parties. The cars can be fixed.
