dont know if you saw my comment on the last post but here it is again: For your friends R1m with the throttle slack. There is a post on the r1-forum by a guy called R1mG titled "2021 r1m throttle relearn". The thread shows how you can remove the slack/play in the throttle before it revs which makes it feel less on/off and strange. Id recommend checking that out if hes interested in fixing the issue!

Maybe these tips will help you, I race a r6. These bikes they dont make power after 15,200 rpms, so if you want to squezze all the power shift at 15,100 or 15,200 if you shift at 16,000 thats almost a 10hp loss and putting wear n tear on the engine. Another issue, is your forks they look to be too low, meaning the front end is too low. Try this, put the bike on a front triple stand make sure the front wheel is fully extended. Grab a tape measure and measure from the top of the lower triple clamp to the center of the front axle. Many guys run at 525-530mm if your front end is too low the bike would feel unstable. I highly recommend you find a good suspension tuner to help with the bikes geometry. Another thing that may help you is to spread apart your handle bars, you have race clip ons. Take benefit in getting the front handle bars as straight as possible. This will give you better feel for the front end. But keep it up, your riding has improved greatly. A good tool to use if you want to be more smoother and have better lines is to play around on minigp's on small karting tracks. These little bikes are great tools, for you I wouldnt hop on a ohvale 190, I would start slower maybe kayo 150. Even kayo you can break the tire loose on exit

I lost focus on my fundamentals and tried to just haul asd through that section. I appreciate the tips though - i’ll take note!!

Interesting that you had no front brake application when you leaned into that right turn. Did you lose the front? The wrong line usually wouldn't make you crash unless you are going "Toprak" speeds or off-roading. It would just make you slower thru that section. 33:11 for reference.

@swarmer56 ай бұрын
@3pointshooter921could possibly be dirty on that section of the track
@Bubbleuprubberdown5 ай бұрын
@3pointshooter921pacific raceway is a goat track. T6(I believe where he laid it down) has always had a little dip off the race line. If you go off line and hit that spot with any change in throttle it upsets the chassis and suspension. Traction in the front goes and you’re on the tarmac. I know because I did the exact same thing back in 2010. That track has barely seen any treatment since I started doing track days there back in 2002. The Ridge is where it’s at.
