@@BaronVonGrumble Hi Chris, looking at your excellent on-boards it seems like the pro riders were taking a more V shape line on that last turn so hard braking upright before a deep turn mid corner then upright again for drive as soon as possible. So they avoided picking up the throttle on the side mid-corner. I guess that's two apex, early and late instead of one. Does that make any sense? Anyway, you were OK and quickly back on it, so good..

Wow seems like brilliant event with plenty of stars! Cant help but smile with Toprak. Yeah bad when u dont know why. When you was quicker during the days did you keep an eye on the suspension settings to match the pace? Reasons being Noticed the forks travel indicator were bottomed after the whoopie. So maybe you needed more pre, comp and reb in ghe front, but did you check and keep an eye on the shock setting too Through the day? If the shocks not controlling the forces it overworks the tyre and pushes ghe pressures up so that could of been a warning? Seems like it unloaded more just as you got to the apex faster than the other laps (was intentional to keep up with brad?) which lifting the back up abit much then just as you put back on the power more suddenly (again intent?) it squashed it but not enough to keep the drive for the tyre so the rear coming round.. just for thought. Excellent vid as usual and riding even with the rash.

The fuelling issue is common to most euro4+ bikes. They have to run lean anyway to meet emissions, and then freeing up the flow leans it out more than the real time stuff will compensate for. People melt through pistons this way so be careful

Lowsiding at that speed, on the throttle, and walking away without any actual mechanical damage is one to scrape off the bucket list. Good! You should be happy with that. If a crash is bound to happen sooner or later the less damage you sustain, all the better.

The awful throttle response is a sign of it running too lean. I had the same issue, where initial throttle opening felt like I was “snatching” at the throttle. No good for mid corner lean angles. I got it mapped to richen it up and it helped massively.
@astrostrotch

That plus the tyre pressure is the perfect recipe for the crash. You could hear the sudden pick up as he cracked the throttle. A remap and correct pressure would have stopped that happening.

I'm still amazed you have not had it mapped to get the fuel ratio right and for the throttle percentages in each gear. especially with that exhaust, needs more fuel. You'll knock another 1s off easily with that. You'll be hanging with the big boys then, impressive speed as it is. Bike came out quite well to be honest but I bet Chris hated the looks, I know he likes them to look perfect. Good riding, good tweaks and excellent video presentation. You need more subscribers.
