@@bosco_bosco You think they are a small channel without money? They have 303K subs. MCN has 334K subs. Official WorldSBK channel has 639K! Yeah... They keep it small, but compared to other channels, I'd say they have more subs per team member, than any other channel. And keeping it small is as you say smart. Less people to pay, less bureaucracy, less office space to pay, etc.

Hey guys, great video again, just thought I would mention about options with regards to the Kit Loom, here in NZ on our superstock race bikes, we run the YEC Loom, with the Standard ECU (use Woolich software). I find the YEC software for the kit ECU pretty limiting. There is a bit of "sorting out" to allow the ECU to run correctly with the YEC loom, but that is more to do with having the dash operate correctly with no MIL lights or any errors, so that you can still make changes to TC etc etc on the fly. So maybe look at doing this option, which would save a bit of coin, but help eliminate unwanted wiring from the standard loom.

Bo\\ocks!! Crescent is no doubt, super professional and the guys won WSBK with Toprak, i mean - you can't question them - they can build an 250+ hp at the wheel engine. BUT, this video is MARKETING! We have the same Dynojet 250i model in our workshop and more than 20 R1 2015+ engines run and tuned - both mechanically and ECU wise - during these past years and NEVER ever this configuration to be able to output anyway near 200 at the rear wheel. So, any Yamaha R1 2015+ Stock engine (stock compression, stock camshafts, stock gears for the camshafts, stock pistons, stock rods, etc) + air filter + stock headers + deCat + Best End Can = cannot do more than 186 and the most optimistic 188 hp at the rear wheel no matter what correction factor is used, no matter how cold the air is, no matter how much oxygen molecules are in the 'inhaled' air in the airbox, no matter how much forced inducted air you go in the ram air - especially with the stock ram air which is SHIT and fucks up the Venturi Effect in the intake and the air pressure happens a lot before than the airbox and not in the airbox where it should. - complicated discussion but i brought it up just to show you i know what i am speaking in here. We had an World Endurance Yamaha R1 on our dyno few days ago - guys, EWC bike, FIA homologated engine and all - and was so far away from that 200 HP ar the rear wheel figure. So, 44 teeth guys are super great lads- i am their fan since ever and still am, guys doing a super good work, but they also need to pay bills, so, marketing is one way to go. But we had here our hands deep into many R1 and we are racing these since 2017. I have some mwr velocity stacks that you can buy if you think it will help. probably gives a slight increase in the top end (3hp) with a slight dip between 10-11k (dip of about 8hp) that needs to be tuned out, but i guess that they will sit in a box in my garage until the day i die. Velocity stacks on the r1 are overrated and not worth the high prices that manufacturers are asking.

you should watch Technology Connections' video on light bulbs and planned obsolescence, they explain that just because you can do something, it doesnt mean you should. Light bulbs were made to fail and run at a very particular rate so they didnt fail too fast, and were predictable in how they failed, when you tune these engines to 110% you are pushing every item way beyond what its meant to handle, so it fails way faster, sure it burns a little bit brighter for a brief moment, but is it worth it? hell you want to tune things down a bit so the engine lasts wayyy longer, go easier on it and the rewards are exponential, just a few % makes a big difference in wear and its so not noticable to the end performance. 90% will serve you way better than 110% in the long run, but these guys doing the tuning are just trying to max the numbers out, not thinking what it does to the parts

Pushing the redline up like some dynos do to show "increase in power" is going 110% This is adjusting the fueling to the way yamaha would do themselves was it not for emissions

@@dazmorland no worries im more of a weed guy than alcohol, but hey i get to enjoy the autobahn here too, just waiting on them to legalise weed and imma have an empire, im actually crunching the numbers right now ;) all i need is 500 members a month who are willing to pay 7.50 a gram for top quality weed 50g cap per month, with a 24 variety selection, shouldnt be hard, when we hit out cap our party will be legendary lol

Yup modern bikes that have been decatted MUST be tuned or you will not gain power (and likely will lose power). Love the sound of the R1... not quite Tuono eargasm level but maybe #2?

Shame about all the locked ecu's on euro nurfed bikes. Stand-alone plug and play, learning ecu's is a market waiting to be tapped.
