Lots of rendering and post process later We've connect all 60 landscape in once place. Since I have a lot of footage left, Would you be interested in seeing shorts for the landscapes? (About 20 second videos with additional First Person view) FUN FACT: 'Beautiful' is the most used word in the video👉

Hi Klaus, I've been binge-watching your videos and they are super helpful! Thank you for making them. I wanted to ask you if you will make a video tutorial on how to add multiple dissimilar terrains (for example a desert and a lush mountain) in Unreal to make a large open-world map? Gaea is a great tool but unfortunately, most tutorials only show one terrain being imported into Unreal, never multiple ones...
@CrowBiomes2 жыл бұрын
It's nice to know that you are finding them helpful. Multiple biomes is an interesting topic and I would love to tackle it when Unreal 5 releases. In the meantime, Hop over to discord and I'll teach you a few things about it.

Texturing is done in Gaea itself

Struggling to figure out how to export roughness from GAEA.
@CrowBiomes2 жыл бұрын
Roughness is basically a data map with 0-1 range color values. So You can use/mix many different data maps for that. Curvature, Rockmap, Texture, protrusion, slope etc, just to name a few. Play around with clamp/clip in post process to get some real nice results.
