Therapy through art actually exists! The therapist either assigns a theme to the pacient or they are free to choose what they want to represent and basically instead of just talking about it, they "show" it, explaining the symbolisms behind it. This both gives them a chance to explain throughly how they feel about it (e.g. a child that paints an abuser as a monster) and to think about it deeply as to represent it. And yes, dance is also an option for this :))

The Prison of Dance would make a great musical film. Where the weird new warden decides to fix everyone with dance... and it actually starts to work. They enter into a compeitions where the prison dance team is looked down upon for being convicts, but they prove to the world that rehabilitation works and sometimes all a person needs is to dance their woes away.
