I agree with what you’re saying! I just personally wanted to defend him from any scrutiny. He isn’t laughing AT me or trying to belittle my enthusiasm; I’m genuinely just not an emotionally expressive person in day to day life. He’s seen me react to situations much more serious with a lot less intensity, so that mask being broken by a Mario game is inherently pretty funny

I didn’t cry but for me it was the highlight of the direct and I jumped. My first console was a DS and my favorite games on it were Pokémon Black V2, Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon, and Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga. They just released Luigi’s Mansion which I already bought and they had the original GBA Mario and Luigi SS on the Online subscription which I beat. I was so excited for another one. All I need now is a Gen 5 Pokémon game

KZbin makes you play into a character a lot more than reality. What you didn’t see was that because I used up so much energy from this reaction, I wasn’t really able to react as much as I wanted to on other really large announcements we got! Emotion is something that needs energy, and depending on other factors in your life, you may not always be able to burn that energy on being expressive. While I save my energy for things like KZbin and work, I am not nearly as reactive in day to day life
