For future reference on the pike, you can grab them by the gill flaps with a finger in each. It keeps their mouth open and allows more control without hurting yourself or the fish.

I’ve had a Native Titan 10.5 since 2019 and absolutely love it! There are quite a few upgrades you can find on Facebook groups, seat risers, aluminum handles with ball bearings. All kinds of great upgrades. I’m in the process of rigging mine with a Lowrance HDS 9” and Motorguide Xi3 with spot lock as we speak and can’t wait for I to warm up. Something tells me a livescope will be coming next as you make it look so informative. New subscriber and love the few videos I’ve watched so far. Keep them coming and thank you!

Berley Pro makes seat risers for native kayaks, but honestly if you or a friend has a 3d printer, there are open source files out there for homemade risers or you can get a sheet of 3/4" starboard and make them the old fashioned way. Also, for the front fishfinder mount, get a short Hobie H-rail kit and run it across the front section and get the h-rail fishfinder mounts for it. Quick and easy.
@TylersReelFishing2 жыл бұрын
The H rail kit was definitely what I was thinking. Can you cut it down though if it’s too long?
@jeremypierce16072 жыл бұрын
@@TylersReelFishing yes. Unless they have changed it the aluminum bar just fits into the plastic mounts. You should be able to pull it apart and trim the aluminum with a hacksaw or cutoff wheel.

I’m Really Looking Forward To Seeing What You Come Up With To Mount The Graphs On The Front. I’m Currently Trying To Figure This Out As Well With My Native Pro Max
@amandabarlow3482 жыл бұрын
Tyler, what do you suggest on 8’ pond prowler when it comes to adding electronics, but keeping the weight light? I have a Minn Kota 55 lb thrust and as it is the weight is heavy and getting to spots takes forever and drains the battery. I want to add electronics to the front, but space is limited and without a trailer I have to load and unload empty. Anything I have in the boat I need to put in and take out each load and unload. Best solution: get a bass boat (lol) but not in the cards right now. Thoughts on what I can do? I fish 4-5 days a week up here in MA, and with fall coming that certainly isn’t going to slow down. Need to maximize the time I have and ease getting in/out. Fishing blind may be fun, but it can certainly set me back finding flats/structures/etc. Thank you! Your videos have been super helpful!

Nice set up. I've been kayak fishing for almost 8 yrs now & still haven't owned any electronics. I'm planning on adding a graph sometime soon if I can decide which one to get? Stuck between Echomap Ultra 106 with lvs34 & Solix10 with mega 360?? Always keep couple pairs on pliers in your yak, standard & long nose & a cutter so u can cut through big hook if you need to & a good long handled net. Sucks loosing 5+ pound fish because u didn't have a decent net!!! Bring what u need but nothing extra, less is more in a kayak even when your in a PA12 360 like I fish from. Seems every year I've taken more stuff out of it than added
