@@handydadtv It’s even easier to remove a tungsten ring than the gold one in your video. Tungsten is very hard but that means it’s also brittle. You can remove it by hitting it a few times with a hammer. Doesn’t take a lot of force so no danger of crushing your knuckle or finger.

I just found your channel. This was fun to watch, and a bit scary. I started a handyman company and I like watching all the tricks of the trade. I lost a lot of weight too, and my ring doesn’t fit. I got the tungsten one. I did this 14 day challenge of absolutely no sugar or carbs. I ate meat and green vegetables and cheese. Amazing results, but ring is too loose. I’m thinking the silicone one for me.

Do the hinge and latch points rub on your skin? I am very sensitive to noticing things like that and I think overtime it might irritate me unless it’s really well machined and not noticeable.

Yes, exactly. Good memory! Originally I replaced the gold ring with a tungsten ring but I really had PTSD and couldn’t wear it long term. Plus I got tired of all the comments saying tungsten can’t be cut so don’t ever get that one stuck. I found this hinged ring and now wear it daily, without stress, knowing I can always get it off if needed.
