Loved the video! Definitely lots of quartz but happy you got some good ones. The last one was definitely unexpected! A lot of the ones that crumbled on you have been though a fire at some point which is why they’re so brittle. Thanks again!

When you first showed the last big chunky one you cut, I thought it looked like the shape of the Beatle's Yellow Submarine - and then you put the flashlight on it and it glowed yellow - that made my day! Thanks for sharing these - so cool! Happy Monday!

at 12:00 that agate on the left 100% looks like a moon over a beach with a wave crashing on it. Turning that into a cab wrapped in silver would be so so stunning!

HI, I am Oregonian, born and bred. Willamette, you came close. I live right next to the ocean, lots of agates are found after storms. My kids, in their early sixties so not "kids" but avid agate hunters. Here is a fun story. I was picking my way down the beach and a guy asked me what I was finding. I showed him my finds and told him to look for the light shining through to find the agates. He walked over to some large boulders that had small stones around and reached down and came back with a limb cast! He held up a foot long limb cast and asked if that was what I meant? Wow!!

As an Oregonian, I'm feeling very validated about our ghostly agates. 😅 Usually, there are more bands than you first see, they're just different densities of clear and white. Also, that last one looks like Haystack Rock on the Oregon coast!

8:24 is what is called "Cornflake Carnelian" around here. You got some gorgeous examples of Willamette river agates. I've been in Oregon for the last 4 years, but a death in the family has me moving back to Ohio/Michigan area. I'm taking all of my Oregon rocks back with me and will always want to come back here just to hound

But your cut where you cut it was a weird angle and part of it was on the bottom and part of it was on the top that was amazing, I even enjoyed the crumbly ones, the last one though was really really cool! I couldn't believe how wide they were, they were so pretty!
