Agree with the great part, but not with it being different. I doubt you have heard all her albums because hunger is reminiscent of songs from 'ceremonials'

Of course I listened to all of her albums! :) I know what you mean with being "reminiscent of songs from 'ceremonials'", the syncopated piano reminds me of "Only If For A Night", the anthemic vibe corresponds with the theme of Ceremonials, the downbeat and dance rhythms and so on! But nevertheless I don't think this Single would fit in "ceremonials"; I mean: She developed so much, found her own style (very important for HBHBHB), and this song still is unique because it has a very biografic, sad, yet clear character, which is rare in flos lyrics, for they are mostly veiled (beautifully). "Hunger" is more direct, and we should not forget, that she adresses us directly ( "WE all have a hunger" ) which I think is quite unusual, most of her songs are and stay quite personal and she leaves it to the listener to relate. Furthermore, I think her vocals sound even more intense in the recent two songs, she always had a powerful voice, but as both are starting with a vocal part, her voice is even more focussed. But like I said, I totally understand what you are saying! I just think these songs are really evolved, they accomplish to create a unique tone. And I really appreciate Florence + The Machines music for this.

I'm so depressiv that she was in vienna and I didn't had the money as trainee and since then I hope she is coming again and I'm saving my money for her concert and I wanna buy EVERYTHING from her merchandise.
