I Deep Fried A Lobster

And almost lost a finger! We spent a day on the ocean bringing in lobsters for a day of commercial lobster fishing. I was quite careful...Lobstermen don't mess around. Fortunately, Curt kept us safe, and we didn't mess with anybody else's lobster traps so nobody attacked us. But, I want to give a major thanks to Curt and his family for bringing us in and out in one piece.

I know it sounds morbid but you have to cook/boil lobsters alive to avoid getting sick or having diseases from the massive of bacteria they produce. You could potentially kill them with a knife before boiling but its recommended you boil them. If you think about it too much its going to make you sad so its better to treat the lobsters well and think about how you are protecting the environment by releasing the ones that breed.

Processing lobster is an interesting way, and deep fried lobster is really good, deep fried lobster is better then regular boiled lobster. Good job Nick for a catch, clean, and cook which can be difficult.
