Thank you for also feeling how I did about night circus - liking the start of her world building and atmosphere. I was disliking that slow pace and then what I felt was a "lazy" choice in ending. Also, also IS THAT ALL THE SOUNDTRACK FROM THE SIMS GAME because i have definitely played too many hours of that. I tried really hard to like it, and I wanted to LOVE it (everyone who recommended it assured me that I would) but I thought it just fell so flat. I also didn't appreciate the strength she builds in Celia and Isobel and then reduces them to some Damsel type tropes (no spoilers so that's all I'll say.) I also love this reading challenge theme you'er doing!!! How cute is OWLs/NEWTs thing?! LOVE it.

For me it wasn't the story it was the ambiance. Think Tim Burton meets American horror story: the freak show edition..... A circus described as monochrome, all the tents hold all different circus acts and some are odd and some are very odd. The circus wasn't there yesterday but it's here today. I loved the ambience the story was just a little bonus lol

Lush employee here with skincare advice! Since you mentioned having dry skin but still getting acne, how often do you exfoliate? Scrubbing your skin not only helps brighten since you're getting rid of the duller top layer, but it also can help with breakouts since you're removing the build up of dead skin cells.

I would DIE for a 4D Night Circus movie, to get to smell all the different scents of the circus, to feel a crisp autumn breeze on your face, maybe even get to eat some of the popcorn or the cinnamon swirls or the chocolate mice...Even thinking about it makes me want to burst to tears, I love the atmosphere of ~Le Cirque des Rêves~ so much!! Next time you want to paint your pages I would suggest getting a multi-surface acrylic. Most of them have a bit of a primer base to them so they go on cleaner and they hold up better in the long run. They're a bit more expensive but worth it for the end results. If you cant find the color you're after in the multi-surface get a white and you can grab a darker shade of the color you want to blend to the shade you need. Best of luck on your next project :)

I love this so much Zoe! I love how you created spreadsheets and google docs and how into this you got. I also really enjoyed getting to see how you showed us your TBR! I loved how visual it was and how organized it was. And your bullet journal is gorgeous. It's so cool that you have a typewriter too. Manual or electric? Five hours of footage?! Wow! I would actually die! I have some friends who also have an April Fool's birthday and people always have to comment on it. THOSE BOOKMARKS ARE ADORABLE! You're making me want to consider reading the Night Circus. I've heard so many mixed things about it that have had me waffling back and forth about even considering it, so this is a big deal Zoe. THE MAGIC TREEHOUSE! Aka one of my absolute favorite series. Your cat is adorable and she does the same thing my dog does (my dog is 90% cat) with the laying down on the book thing. I love your artistic adventure. It looks like it was a ton of fun, but I totally understand how it could be a wild messy disaster. HAILEY CAMEO! You are the furthest thing from boring. I love you. That Disney excursion looked so fun! I pretty much only read at night too. I literally never wash my makeup brushes, but I really should. I have bad sleep patterns too, but I'm working on it. I love those HP socks! They're so cute. I sort of have a skin care regimen but not really. I have a special facewash I use twice a day and then a special moisturizer and occasionally use a face mask (I think it's tea tree). I was unable to participate in this readathon this year (I won't be able to do them until after the Bar in July) but I hope it continues going well for you Zoe!

I’m taking part in the OWLS. I want to be a Writer/Journalist. I’ve read 2 out of 3 books for that so far. I’ve read The Handmaid’s Tale for History Of Magic and Rogue Most Wanted for Defence Against The Dark Arts. I’m currently reading Daisy Jones And The Six for Muggle Studies, which I’m loving! I wasn’t able to get much reading in yesterday because of the Paris disaster. I was more interested in watching TV for updates. I’m English so England isn’t too far from France. Tomorrow I certainly plan on reading A LOT more but we’ll see! I liked your effort in painting your book, even if it didn’t turn out quite how you wanted it to. I still need to complete The Night Circus. Well, I’ll reread what I read of it and THEN complete it!
