I remember my first time reading The Stand. When a certain character died i threw my book across the room, LOL. On another occasion, my buddy's girlfriend (at the time) picked up my paperback copy of i Am Legend and started reading it. That was fine until she rolled the cover back around the spine. I had to immediately intervene and asked her not to do that. She promptly put it down and didn't touch any more books. Just as well. That book didn't have any pictures anyway...

anyone worrying about zoe. she's doing well. I learned and checked that she's a librarian now, and is happy with her life. It'd be wonderful to see her back but as long as she's healthy and happy, I can simply re-watch her videos to get inspired to read 😊❤

That slow head turn at the end terrified me💀 Never, EVER suggest such a thing. If someone has that many books in the first place, they are not about to "throw some out"🤬 You will be the one thrown out. I deal with this with my mom. I have so many books I haven't even read yet, but everytime I go somewhere with books, I have to get more.😊 Most of the time I'm pretty chill with people like friends talking to me while I'm reading, especially if they ask about the book itself since I'm always eager to have someone to talk to about them, but it is a struggle not to just storm out of the room or ask someone to shut up if they just keep prattling on with no end in sight about their problems when I'm trying to just forget reality and no one cares.😓
