Hey uT! I have a tip for macroing with Zerg - not sure if you know about it already. If you have your queens on a hot key, you can inject larva without having to put your camera there - you can press the inject larva key and click the hatchery on your minimap, and the closest queen to that hatch will inject. Always made macroing easy for me so I could be injecting while microing the army on the other side of the map. Hope you like the tip! Love your channel!

Spine and spore crawlers are a huge benefit of playing zerg. They don't use any supply and can move. So when maxed army happens there can be a whole other army of movable attacking buildings. Like pfs and turrets that can be advanced. When the resources are mined out drones are still valuable changing into crawlers not just sacked like probes and scvs.

@@PashaSlavaUkraine The lower ranks which is where you'll start out is very very approachable. Just look at some low APM videos from WinterSC for your race or any other unranked to GM series and copy the build/theory behind good starcraft. I got to diamond in about 75 games.

Love the fact you're branching into other races. These bizarre challenges are very entertaining, and would love to see you do your thing with combos from other races. Even if it means ending challenges after 10 episodes due to losing MMR twice in a row... I say go for it. Would love to see your Protoss version of the marine medivac challenge and how you deal with zealot anti-air problems for example. My suggestion is that since you continually improve you're skills between episodes (I think you critically study your matches while editing videos), in the long run (months and years) you'll be able to come up with a lot more fun creative compositions than if you'd just stuck to Terran the whole time. Just a thought. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Marc, I figured I'd ask this question on your most recent video although it pertains mostly to Terran. I noticed when you are lifting depots to prevent units from entering your main you select them by box clicking. The game doesn't allow you to select both depots that way by default because the selection area includes more than 1 building type. Just a small curiosity from watching a lot of your content. Thanks for making these videos, you managed to get me re-addicted to this game that I played religiously for 5 years straight. I don't know if that's a good thing but I am enjoying myself lol

If you box the 2 depots plus barracks you can actually select 2 depots ^^ some of my habits are definitely weird though, not everything I do is perfect :P

I'm starting to get the impression that when it comes to zerg, you can never make too many drones. I think uthermal is too used to the terran mindset where you have to constantly keep up the pressure with a superior army. Even if you have a weaker zerg army, they still have to move across the map to take out your economy. In other words, for the macro games that happened later on in both games, I think uthermal should have expanded more aggressively and defended instead of trying to keep army on the other side of the map. Drone growth rate is like exponential, the more drones you have, the more drones you can make vs terran where getting ahead in scv count for a little bit doesn't mean as much. In other words, keep doing the cheeses, but don't be afraid to switch to defense/eco earlier once the commitment is over. I think the cheeses are stronger than you think but your macro messes up the lead you get from it. Love your videos as always uThermal.

I think the proxy hatch from the first game need another ravager. 3 was enough to do tiny bits of hull damage to cannons, but a 4th would have gotten through the cannons relatively quickly

What's the correct response when the Zerg takes your natural? I've never figured out how to not just be massively behind. Even if the Zerg does zero damage, you're going to have a ton of creep to clean up. And teching up to a raven means no opportunity to do fast counter damage. So what do you do?

One of my favorite timing attacks is, "muta harass" and than tricking as if flying back or straight up fly around to the air zone in behind or close, mutation into brood lords. Its an expensive attack to cause as much damage as possible timed wit ha frontal assault. The broodlord port. :P

disclaimer.. I do not play starcraft anymore.. Can someone explain why in the second game Thermal doesn't build just 3-4 spine crawlers when he has proxy hatch established? feels like he could have gotten way more than one down and just trapped terran on one base for a long time as he macroed behind. Seemed like he gave up on it earlier with only one spine. Did he just not think he would be able to get established with that foothold for so much time?

I don't think I've won a single game when my zerg opponent took my natural. It doesn't matter how well I defend, the map is covered in creep and I can't take the natural forever, so I'm really not sure what I'm supposed to be doing from that position.
