Ya but the free alpha is nice so you’ll probably be back even if not as seriously as before. I still jump on every once in a while and just cruise around exploring, talking to people and looking at the visuals in each system. Something comforting about going back to a game you spent so much time in and warping around even without a purpose is still relaxing to me.

It is not impossible without money., by a far margin. You CAN play the game for free, without "MMO GRINDING" The reality is money management. Eve teaches you this. If you suck at finances in real life, you will suck at in game finances. Eve, over time made me realize my spending. Both in game, and real life.

​​​@@CitizenFortress I am Clone Alpha 001, I ran the largest trade chat in the game, "Alpha's Supply Depot" at its height i had over 1000 dust mercs who were making deals amd trades in my chat and also two of the CCP devs were hanging out in there, i would spend real money to buy Aurum (gold) and buy active and passive boosters which i would sell for "large" amounts of isk to the top players and alliances which i would then use to buy the best officer drop suits and wepons in bulk from other players for low and then resell for higher to make profits, i was the most notorious arms dealer in Dust 514, i had built a reputation as the most legit dealer, i had the ear and support of the largest and most powerful dust merc corps on call, any corp whos members scammed in my channel would have their planetary districts attacked untill they repaid the scam plus a fee, i had agents working for me in other trade chats montoring for deals and reporting scammers names back to me so that i could block or kick them from Alpha's Supply Depot, i would inturn contact the known scammers and using my reputation engaged in "trade" with them and counter scammed them for large amounts of isk or gear. It was good times, i could run all the best gear for lols in pub matches, i had a obsession with the Kubos and Wolfmans scrambler pistol, the were amazing pistols with a huge clip, massive headshot damage and a wicked rate of fire but the majority of players didn't like them due to not understanding how to use them properly or suffering from skill issues so i could buy them in bulk for very little, i would use a very fast minmatar drop suit with hig shild and armor regen and just zip around blapojg everything in the head usually getting around 30-40 kills and die maybe once. I miss that game.

In the state the game is in now omega should only double your skill research, it should have nothing to do with what ships you can and can’t fly. The player base is going down and down and down and just not a lot is happening in general even between all the large corporations. CCP need to incentivise veterans and new players to come play the game
