I am outraged that they always give the offenders about by asking about substance abuse. The first question asked was about that. What about “why would you do such a thing? Do you know there is no excuse? “ I wish the board would watch some of these hearings and see how pathetic they are.

I'm sooooo happy that he said, 'I didn't think she would talk'! He nailed it. The board got an early lunch. Also, putting that together with the comment that he didn't know about how much time he would get indicates that he used deductive reasoning. So any correlation between his choices and a low IQ is ridiculous. He was calculating (miscalculating).

If the victim ever sees this comment; this “man” (monster) that did this to you was not your fault in any way. You deserve a mother and father that were to love and protect you. Not treat you like a pawn in a sick game or as an object for their own gratification. I am out here in the world and rooting for you to overcome and succeed. You are a victor; and I hope this monster stays in prison and you never have to fear anything regarding him again. That is what you deserve.

It’s not an excuse. But the s@x offender program teaches such people self control. You can’t make these horrible people erase their desire to abuse children. They teach them to control their urges. Drugs and alcohol take away self control so they increase recidivism rate.

Alcohol and drugs decrease impulse control. You can’t change the fact that such horrible people are attracted to children. You can only teach them to control their impulses. Intoxication will overcome the impulse control they are taught in the programs.
