You use way less hair than when you do regular box braids I used 5 pack of hair really 4.5 and the bags came to top of her butt

I have 4c hair, and this is my 3rd consecutive time rocking them. It grows out just fine. Lasts me about 6 weeks. And I do them myself, so I’m able to keep up my own maintenance. Maybe it’s the products that mess it up for some people. I don’t know. But I’ve been pleased. And they are lighter and more versatile.
