@@ryanfriesen4366 that is true, but the fact remains that this child was raised by his mother's family, who believed the father was guilty, from the get-go, & still believes he is guilty to this day. Therefore, they have made it their mission, to make the father out to be a bad person, who has taken this child's mother away from him. Do you really think when that family is in the childs, (adult now) ear, telling him all kinds of shit about his father, telling him, that his father took his mothers life, that he is in the right mind frame, to decide if he even wants to see his father or not. This kid thinks his own father killed his mother. I'm going to go out on a limb & say that the son has more problems than just hate for his 'murderous' father. I'm pretty sure that he also has resentment for his nnationality as well. He probably hates hispanic/white people, (I'm not sure what the father is), & he probably hates that he is half, & not full like his mother. It's crossed my mind that the family doesn't care for non-blacks. They are STILL accusing this man, even though he was cleared, & the supposed 'correct' man is in custody..... whom just happens to be a black man, yet the family won't even entertain the idea that this black, could indeed 'be the killer'. (I'm NOT trying to make this a race thing, but the facts of the matter, are that race has ALOT 5o do with the case.) The family doesn't seem to harbor any bad feeling towards the black man that the police have in custody, yet this hispanic or white man, whatever he is, can PASS a lie detector test, & STILL be accused. It's been 20 YEARS... this family refuses to reconsider the fathers innocence. Now that is a DAMN SHAME. This is so fucked up. This man has lost 3 years of his life, that he will NEVER get back, but most of all, & most importantly, he lost his son, & lost watching him grow. He was never even told he had a child, (the mother was wrong for that). He lost his boys' childhoo... he lost all the rewards & milestones that come with that. He missed put on so much. He missed bdays, 1st day of school, school functions, awards, sports, his first crawl, step, tooth, all his school dances, his 1st girlfriend, his 1st kiss, first heart break.. his 1st everything. To top it off, he is STILL being accused, ridiculed & blamed for this horrendous crime. SMFH. May time heal wounds... GOD will prevail! RIP Jessica, fly with the Angel's, beautiful. Lastly, if you're reading this, (child), please, go meet your father. At least give him that... even if it's only once. Even if you're not sure... please give him that. You may never get the chance again. At least you can say you gave him a single minute look, it's YOUR life, & you're going to do what you want & not do anything you don't want. It's ultimately up to you, but I'd personallyencourage you, to take that leap, & just meet him, see what he has to say... & if you're still not feeling it, get up & leave, & you'll never have to see, or speak to him again. Once in a lifetime is better than never. GOD BLESS you all. [Sorry so long. Thanks to those who took the time to read my long ass post.]

Karina Peters while thats true, we don’t know if this guy even knows who is father is. The son grown now. The son was raised by the mother’s parents. Everyone saying it’s not right for him to have been denied access to his child . Well this is just one half of the puzzle, folks need to Research the mom story. The mother told the parents that Jeremy raped her. So that probably why they didn’t allow access. There daughter died now so they focus on raising the child. Now that the child is grown he needs to reach out for himself.

As soon as I saw TN, all my questions were answered. To everyone saying sue sue! In these states, they just passed laws that give ppl wrongly convicted a lil (and I said LITTLE) stipend regardless of how many years they served. Prosecutors only say they care about families bc viewers of forensic files and other crime shows are potential jurors. It’s all for show. When you have a big crime, cops, pros have to arrest someone to put on a BIG show. I do understand the family not wanting the son around because they’ve been groomed by the prosecutors since the crime happened so they could be witnesses the jury can relate to. It’s all numbers in the prosecution and defense of everyday people. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU VOTE FOR!
