Thank you everyone for all the uplifting comments I really appreciate it. Just an update after the show Grandma told our whole family she didn’t see me take a lie detector test. She told everyone she did not believe the results. The Bs continues. Luckily for me I’m moving forward with my life. Ps. I blinked a lot because I have hyperthyroidism and my condition makes my eyes really dry. Plus I had on eyelashes which made it worst. Thank you everyone!

The granddaughter didn’t seem to want that (very awkward) hug, but the grandmother more or less forced that hug on her. It’s also just grandma who said at the end “Come on baby”, not the granddaughter. The granddaughter said in the end-interview that she wants to make peace and that the result of the lie detector is giving her the closure she needed and that she now can move forward. I don’t make from those words that that means there will be a place in her life for her grandmother. But if she DOES have a place in her heart for this grandmother, she is more forgiving than I am, bc I would be completely DONE with granny!

It always breaks my heart to see these episodes where someone is so desperate for answers that they look for anyone to blame. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a child, no matter the age, but to blame your own granddaughter due to whatever ill-formed resentment you have for her? That doesn't help anything. I hope both of these women have the opportunity to heal.

I could not hug her after everything that was said on that stage. That grandmother is delusional and needs some help and you can tell these delusions didn't just happen after her daughter died. This has been happening for awhile. && I could put money that once they get home the grandma will be on the phone telling the family she don't know how she passed the lie detector test and keep the accusations going.

I know this is a year ago comment but I'm just seeing this video now. I'm so sorry you lost your mom. I'm an only child, with a chronic illness, and an absent father. I know the day I lose my mom .... I can't even imagine. Its so bad that most of the time I pray that I'm gone before her because I cannot live without this woman. I even say, the second she's gone , I'M gone too. However I have to do it. You are STRONG for still being here and coping, living, maintaining the life your mother would surely WANT you to have and doing a damn fine job. It's hard to stay that strong, and crying doesn't make you weak. You have all the strength in the world just for still living. I hope heaven actually does exist so one day you can see her again and let HER tell you this. 🩵💙

Maybe by some miracle grandma did change after this… But her whole demeanor/behavior shows that she’s capable of being that bitter person on the regular. She’s the type to dredge up stuff to be spiteful and throw stuff back in your face just to hurt you. I personally don’t like the way she pulled Treshunna in and forced that hug when she tried to walk away, as if she didn’t just act the way she did.. (even if she was grieving that seemed personal and more like resentment). The fact that Treshunna had to ask for an apology also didn’t sit well with me. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but I feel like she wasn’t going to say it had she not brought it up. She’s the type you love from a distance IF you choose to allow them back into your life.

You have to ask yourself, how does a class valedictorian go from graduating high school to selling dope? Is it because she had a very poor parent? Grandma is the problem. The fact that she was blaming the granddaughter for her daughter's death because she wasn't mourning appropriately is insanity. Just because the granddaughter wasn't losing her mind like a psychopathic hulk beast doesn't mean that she killed her own mother. 10 bucks says it was a drug deal gone bad.

So if your daughter was such a “go getter valedictorian blah blah” why tf was she selling drugs??? Especially to the point that she was able to be robbed not once not twice but three times by the same exact person? Your daughter was a user lol
