I didn’t read all the comments so I’m sure it has been said, but that was a pure sauger. The easiest way is to look at the dorsal fin, straight lines is a sauger, blotches is a saugeye and one black spot on the back is a walleye. They all have some white on the tail

You should try something like a square bill or a wake bait (something that floats) toss it up on the upper level and let it come over the falls then vary the depth by how fast you retrieve. I would think that would mimic a disoriented bait fish that just fell over the falls.. not sure if it works well but it sounds good. Great video man good catch.

I mainly trout fish with a center pin reel on a noodle rod !! If you never float fished with a center pin you are missing out !! Super fun !! Takes some time to get use to it but when you get it !!! My god it’s fun

Here in wisconsin you can only keep 3 walleye and they have to be over 18 inches, it use to be 15 inches and you could keep 5
