I've always enjoyed fishing spillways. Around 12 years ago I was diagnosed with Spondylosis so I can't get out and walk. I can walk, just not too far and not too good. LOL. Great video brother but as you can see from all the comments you've got/are gonna get about the spot on the lense, every so often when your filming around water I recommend checking the lense and cleaning it off. Love from MN brother!

I've been getting skunked all over the place this spring so I thought to myself, what would Josh do? So I went to the trusty old dirty spillway and caught some drum buds on nightcrawlers. I was hoping for catfish and the corn rod was sitting out there all of 3 hours without a bite but at least i got something. Felt good to finally catch a fish

Thinner floats tend to have better sensitivity they where first developed for carp fishing I beleive its just easier to detect a bite and they cast better

i tried using flouro for my leaders for a while and hated it because if i got snagged and broke off the whole leader would go. I tried pulling slower+plenty of spit on my knots but it would happen every time
