This is one of the best videos youve ever made undoubtedly. Info from experts, comprehensive look at what these incredible people do, so respectful, so well edited and filmed with footage from bodycams. Just incredible. The fact this only has 180k views after 5 days is a disgrace. KZbin is a joke nowadays. This should be getting recommended to everyone. Dont get disheartened Simon, you’re a legend

I agree. He should submit this to some film festivals as a short-form documentary. Might be the best thing he's done. Fascinating subject, not overly exaggerated, just a thoughtful treatment of an interesting profession and their daily lives, amidst the backdrop of the horrors of war.

Simon, Good on you for showing the largely unreported legacy of war. It's crazy that these people weren't even born during Vietnam and are having to clean up the mess America left behind. Sadly, this will be a similar situation in places like Central African Republic, Libya, Ukraine, Myanmar, etc. People are quick to shoot and drop bombs first, but rarely do they think about what's involved cleaning up the unexploded ordinance left behind by both warring parties.

So in 2016 I was in Vietnam and went on a caving expedition for four days through Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. And we walked single file through the jungle because they had warned us about unexploded bombs and mines everywhere. And on the first day we were walking through a field, had heard an explosion about 30min earlier, and walked past a giant crater in the ground where a water buffalo had stepped on a mine. Seriously tough people the Vietnamese. And some of the most hospitable, friendly, and hardworking around.

The hirony with the US flag on their uniforms... The 10s of museums in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia (where there is actually as much unexploded bombs as in Vietnam) about the war and it's repercussions are so eye opening. Head there once in your life if you have the chance. In Cambodia, they actually use highly trained rats to find the hidden landmines without setting them off. They clear massive areas and save countless lives from accidents like the ones we saw in the video. True heroes!
