I've also stayed in that ice hotel on an assignment for the Guardian. It was awesome. Everyone I was with got really pissed in that bar as we had our own bottles of vodka, as the prices in the bar were really high. I woke up naked in my room on top of the animal skin rug unable to remember how I got there. Thankfully I wasn't frozen and had a great nights sleep. When I went for breakfast I was greeted by everyone else who were all grumpy and still shivering cold as they had not slept due to the cold and the fear of freezing overnight. There is something delicious about drinking in the cold out of them frozen glasses. Great experience.

Canada has its own version of the ice hotel just outside of Québec City in Québec. It was shown in two Hallmark Christmas 🎄 movies made in Canada as a lot of Hallmark movies are made in Canada, especially the Christmas ones . Anyway, I think it's the only one of its kind in North America. Beautiful ice carving by the artist like the one in Sweden 🇸🇪. Each ice room is different from different scenery. One of my favorites was the wolf room. It would have felt like I was sleeping in the wolf's den with him. Amazing! One ice 🧊 room had Angels and Cherubs 👼 was another favorite. In this particular ice hotel, they had a big slide 🛝 to slide down on. A lot of children who were guest with their parents took advantage of it, along with some adults who were like children at heart. 😉 You're never too old to use the slide 🛝 anyway. I was, for some reason, hoping there would be an ice slide at that ice hotel in Sweden, too ? 😟 disappointed ! LOL 😀 By the way, I check the currency differences between the Canadian dollar and the Swedish Krone, and 5000 NOK comes to $ 1,955.00 in Canadian currency. The room suite you rented Simon Wilson. Too rich for me.
