At first I thought it was a terrible move, but the reality is that he wasn't going to keep either anyway because he had mult from tarot joker, and the swashbuckler gave him a lot of immediate mult to get through some hands while egg+swash wouldn't have made his build much better even if it had time to ramp up

For future reference, Lovers does work with Blackboard - it's checking to see that your hand is all spades and clubs (so wild works) - which would be different than it looking to see if your hand had no Hearts or Diamonds
