Hey guys! I've been getting a ton of questions about my favourite drills, so I figured I'd put together this video to share my top three with you. These drills were game-changers for me on the road to going pro.
These drills are by no means 'quick fix' drills but i'm confident they'll help step up your golf game too. The reason I know they will help you is that they are not specific to my game, but applicable to every golfer as they will improve ball striking, direction and also help you if you are making any swing changes within your game.
Really hope you enjoy and drop me a comment below the video id love to hear your thoughts

Your second point regarding slicing a driver with a face impacting square to target was mind blowing for me and it's crazy that other videos don't point this out (everyone always blames slicing on OTT or opening the face at impact). I have been struggling so much figuring out why I am slicing my driver without being OTT and on video recapture I am hitting my driver mostly square but still slicing. This might be the answer I have been searching for. Definitely going to try drill 2 next time I am out.

Excellent video Chris. I will commit to these three drills every week! My coach uses a big stick of chalk on the mat at the range. I know I’m pretty well on target when I remove the chalk line. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Chris, great drills. Re your crossing the line problem, I struggle with too much wrist cock at the top which causes similar crossing and the club dipping down way too far. I like the idea of pausing to feel where you want to be. How long did it take you to correct this? You appear to have an enviously perfect looking position at the top now in your videos.

Thanks Chris, another good video lesson. One question, during the pause drill, the ball went off to the left both times and I get that you’re looking for the concept but how do you feed off the improvement in the concept, when doing the drill if the ball doesn’t go where you want it to?

Great question, it really just depends on why you are using the paise drill. For me in this example I’m using the pause drill to move better to the top and have the club in a more neutral position, if I do that then it’s a successful swing As it’s a new move, different position then it’s likely that the result will be a little different, but the more I do it and rehearse it it should improve. Later on in the session I may do the same drill bit focusing a little more on result, in that case the direction is important, so really just depends on what your focus is for that swing

Generally means you are a little shallow into the ball, which does give those strikes. Could be due to an open club or maybe sequencing in the downswing

@@ChrisRyanGolf thanks, I tend to pull my irons left and find it very difficult to fade with an iron (although slice the driver).
