The total fuel cost was close to $2kAUD. I won't be doing a trip this long in that van again, but it was supremely comfortable to sleep in. EDIT: I'm doing a trip this long in the van again.

Yeah, using 98. Can't use 91, but can use 95 if needed. I'm pretty strict on what I put in my cars.

@@AvenirRacing can't complain about 2k there and back ... that's 2695km each way !! I am driving my 06 Highway Star from Melbourne to Bundaberg Qld next year around March.

@@tracybrown3057 Hope you enjoy the drive! The costs are worth it when you're in something this comfortable. The $2k just shocked me initially, because I first crossed the Nullarbor in my FG G6E Falcon, and that cost me $800 total. Much cheaper. Can't sleep in that comfortably though, not if you wanna keep your spine in one piece.
