Dude. These are the types of videos I love. I appreciate the cinematography, but really love the in the van, hunkered down, and seeing you in your living quarters type videos. Hi Chad. I discovered you on KZbin about a week ago and have been binge watching your amazing videos ever since. I live in Scotland and it looks a lot like where you are at the moment! I bought a converted Ford Transit minibus last year and spent the whole summer travelling around Scotland with my wee dog. I've now stripped out the interior and am re-doing it to better suit me. I bought a camper van in 2019 when I retired and have traveled to every state in the country. I love the way you share your experience on video. I recall driving back from mission ridge to ellensburg at night after a day of skiing, in a snow storm, in a vw bug, snow so deep you couldn’t see the edges of the road, following a semi close, like a magnet on his rear lights so as not to fall off the edge. Not able to see anything but those bright lights, a true white out at night, those red tail lights a beacon…. Lol exhausted from skiing, my friend sound asleep in the seat next to me. The days of crazy youth, shocking I survived it. I was driving west bound over blewett pass, on hwy 97, looks like your headed east near hwy 2. One time it snowed 57 inches over night in that area…. All the ski areas were closed… except?!? Alpental!!! 57 inches of fresh pow pow…..What a day that was. Thanks for sharing, I grew up in those snows…. Cascade concrete. Lol

I am a groundworker, digger driver so work for a while travel for a while its about balance and finding what suits you. I don't do much travelling these days as done alot when I was younger but still love the life style, peace and tranquility.

When I was out in the dead of winter, on the coldest, snowy night, my big rig's diesel heater kept me toasty warm while in my sleeper bunk area...They are super efficient at doing their job while only just sipping fuel...Stay warm & safe out there Mr Chad and Happy Holidays!

If you want to add a little “tech” to your temperature measurements, get you a couple of SensorPush Bluetooth temperature/humidity sensors. Records temperature continuously and the app gives you alerts/alarms and a continuous chart of the temps. Pretty impressive visuals.

I just did a routine "quality control" test on an Aberlour 12 year old. Suffice it say that it "passed" but we are only at -15c here in the Highlands of Scotland. I love the mountain house and peak refuel meals. They are tasty and easy. I’m a flight attendant that lives in a Sprinter and I use these late at night when there are no other food options. We almost always have hot water on the planes and in the hotel rooms.
