What's the plan for the backyard now? I'd suggest building a decent sized garage large enough for the car and your garden things. For BBQ, maybe between the vegetable plot and the patio or replace where the steps are with a larger patio (w table and chairs) for a separate BBQ area.

Turon is also one of my many favorites and usually my wife puts sugar inside the wrapper and for the gulaman instead of condensed milk, we use gata ng niyog which is much better taste and healthy.
