this song is a b-side from their album Noeasy, as another comment mentioned, and the group has 8 members but for the album they divided into 3 units, and well this is a popular song among fans because of the dark/sexy concept (the 2 members in the video, Hyunjin and Bang Chan, had been saying they wanted to do a sexy song together for a year before this song was released so the expectations were high lol) , the title track the full group promoted is called Thunderous, and there will be music videos for the other 2 units as well, the songs are produced/written mostly by the members by the way! the whole concept/idea for the units was created by themselves, they have a lot of diversity in their discography and this was the first time they tried a more mature concept.

The english title they used is "Red Lights" but your right the direct translation of their korean title is compulsion and they wrote about the compulsion they feel towards their work not knowing when to take a rest as making music or dancing or performing feels like second nature to them. Thank you so much for your reaction, I'm so happy you like the song and the video! As others have pointed out, this isn't the usual Stray Kids style, but their music is VERY varied. When they first started a lot of their songs were heavily influenced by rock and they still like to use heavy guitars even now (just like you could hear in this one). The members compose, write, and produce their own music so this is pretty much entirely their creation. The English title of the song is Red Lights, but the translation of the Korean title is indeed "compulsion". I hope you'll react to more of their stuff despite not being that much into pop. Their music is considered "noisy" because it's heavy on various sounds and generally goes harder than your regular pop. The latest title track (from the same album as Red Lights) is called "Thunderous", it has traditional Korean elements in it, you might enjoy it! If you'd like to hear more of their rock-inspired songs, I suggest their debut "District 9", and songs like "Grrr", "My Pace", "YAYAYA" (doesn't have a music video), "Awaken" (also doesn't have an MV), as well as SLUMP - there's a live Japanese version of this one on THE FIRST TAKE channel.

OH OH OH SKZ!!! Okay, well.. their music spans over about what? 35 genres and subgenres? There's bound to be something anyone likes... but if you like this, I'd definitely recommend something like awaken (there's only a lyric video for this if I'm correct), Grrrr, Mirror, maybe some rap heavy things like Maze of Memories and Tortoise and the Hare?? I really dig those.. Oh maybe Slump as well? Maybe that's just because I got attached to the lyrics though... Then Domino (there isn't a music video but their performance at inkigayo was absolutely amazing - I don't know if it'll get a strike, though.. but there is a dance practice which is cool.. like their choreo always blows my mind) And some of my favourites are Side Effects, Double Knot, We Go, Wow (specifically Stray Kids, the 3RACHA one is just kind of a meme by now), 3rd eye (this one is a bit more unconventional experimental vibes but so good. My favourite version is the one they did live I think it's the unveil actually). Their softer type things are also nice like Ex, Levanter, Neverending Story, Secret Secret, Gone Away They are a self-writing, self-producing group which is something you don't see a lot... their writing/producing/rapping unit is 3RACHA and they also have some amazing songs - my favourites are Broken Compass, NXT 2 U, Runner's High, Matryoshka, Z.O.N.E... this is also all a lie because I love everything that 3RACHA puts out) Thank you for reacting to them!!! Really enjoyed the reaction! I would honestly love for you to react to more of them, even though I don't know if you'll like it. Their discography is extremely diverse when it comes to genre, but they are known for their "noise" music, edm and rap. What I like is that, as you realized, they're very committed to their art. This song, for example, is full of layers and could be interpreted as the compulsion to be perfect at what you do and having a toxic relationship with work lol. Honestly I’ve always loved more metal, alternative, and rock. But there are two kpop groups that caught my eye due to their more aggressive styles: Stray kids and Monsta X. I would highly recommend checking out Monsta X’s Gambler if you want to. For stray kids you might like hellevator and side effects as well. You might also like Day 6 which is an actual Korean band. this was more of an anomaly for stray kids so you might not like the rest of their music, BUT there are some other kpop groups that do some rock-leaning stuff, tomorrow x together has some pop-rock stuff with their songs "0x1=lovesong" and "loser=lover", and woodz (solo artist) has a weird mix (he does like a different genre every song) but "feel like" is country rock with a similar guitar line to red lights. a.c.e's song "undercover" is a more classic kpop sound, with rock-leaning percussion and electric guitar mixed in.
